Note: GoldSim is named for Golder Associates (now WSP), a consulting firm which was named after its co-founder, Hugh Golder. Dr. Golder was a pioneering British Engineer who taught with renowned geotechchical engineer, Karl Terzaghi. As a young engineer, Dr. Golder spent his early career developing innovative layering techniques for British airfields to allow B-17s to land during the second World War.
